Embroidery

I bought the cheapest embroidery machine at Walmart: the Sewing & Embroidery Brother SE630 because I’ve been itching to learn.. AND my family requested several custom hat designs. I don’t want to let them down! I also don’t want to pay hundreds to have a vendor make it, when I can attempt to learn it myself.

It’s been a real struggle learning it, mainly because I had no idea where to start. Little did I know, that digitizing the designs was the hardest part.

I’m currently using a free version of Inkscape to digitize, but hopefully, I can invest in something that will really enhance my designs.

Here are some of the beanies I made just to sell at the October Nelson Community Market. I’m happy to say, 3 of them sold!! So I must be doing something right. Maybe. I still have a lot to learn, and I’m hoping to keep getting better at it.
