Finding Love
Ironically “Finding Love” sounds like a bad reality show, when I really mean it towards nature and finding love in every day things.
I think I’ve found a theme amongst artists that I befriend: we all go through periods of discouragement. We’re all on this journey to fall in love with creating and continuously re-discovering that love over and over. It can get exhausting honestly.
I took a mini hiatus, and it’s been a journey trying to find the determination to start drawing, marketing and embroidery again. I’m struggling.
A lot of the messages I draw, are usually meant for myself PLUS everyone else who needs to hear the same thing.
I’m learning to be ok with my own journey even though it’s slow. I’m in a “falling in love with art again” phase, where I am finding moments to draw the things that I want to instead of what’s trending.
Here’s to finding love in every day life; The beauty of snowfall, moments of laughter, playing Palworld all day with my husband, cooking delicious meals. All of it. Cheers!
